Dysynni Trail Fest
Meirion Raynet Group have once again been asked to cover this fantastic event
A flat scenic course – Ideal for experienced runners or anyone looking for an introduction to off road running.
The Trail fest race series will start and finish in the walled garden of Ynysymaengwyn Woodland Park, before running along the tranquil banks of the river Dysynni, and the surrounding Dysynni valley.
Once regarded as the jewel in the crown of the Dysynni valley in south Meirionnydd, Gwynedd. The Ynysymaengwyn Estate with its Stately home nestled in 40 acres of perfectly manicured lawns, beautiful gardens and majestic woodlands. Once owned by the local noble Corbett family, and later John Corbett (no relation) the Droitwich salt magnate. The estate fell into disrepair when the last surviving family member vacated the estate during the Second World War.
Now the location for the Ynysymaengwyn Caravan and Woodland Park. The site still retains its woodland walks and the remains of the walled garden and the estates outbuildings.
If the Races limit has not been exceeded late entries will be accepted on the day and on payment of an additional fee.
NOTE: Online entries will close on the 8th June 2017. A late entry fee of £3:00 will be charged for on the day entries for the 5km, 10km & 15km races.
